OWNER/ATTORNEY

Justin M. Claud

Justin M. Claud is the Founder and President of the Claud Law Group, located in Palm Beach County, Florida. Justin specializes in behavioral healthcare regulation and compliance. He has worked extensively in matters involving state and federal regulation of mental health and substance abuse facilities, including, but not limited to, consulting start-up and established businesses, handling licensure and accreditation applications, drafting policy and procedure manuals, representing clients at audits, and counseling clients with regards to regulatory compliance matters. Prior to opening the Claud Law Group, Justin gained valuable experience aggressively advocating for clients in a wide array of contracts, civil litigation, corporate, real estate, landlord-tenant and intellectual property matters.

Justin was born and raised in Palm Beach County, Florida. He obtained a Bachelor’s Degree in Legal Studies from the University of Central Florida in 2006 and a Juris Doctor from Florida Coastal School of Law in 2009. Justin is licensed to practice in all state courts in Florida, as well as the federal courts in the Southern District of Florida.

When not working, Justin enjoys spending time with his family, playing golf as much as possible and rooting for the University of Central Florida’s athletics programs.

Geoffrey Pette

Mr. Pette’s practice is focused on the representation of businesses and individuals in a wide array of legal matters.  As both a seasoned litigator and experienced business attorney, Mr. Pette tackles his clients legal matters through meticulous preparation and tireless advocacy, all while approaching each legal matter with strategic, sensible, cost effective and creative solutions.  While Mr. Pette has experience in many general litigation matters, his primary focus is on Business, Dental, Employment and Real Estate Law & Litigation, as well as offering clients Real Estate Title Litigation and Closing Services.

Mr. Pette advises individuals, small and mid-size Corporations, Limited Liability Companies, Limited Partnerships and Limited Liability Limited Partnerships,  in all aspects of their daily business needs, including but not limited to, business acquisitions & sales, corporate formation, employment matters, contract and lease negotiations, complex civil & commercial litigation, non-compete/disclosure agreements, partnership & shareholder agreements/disputes/formation, real estate (acquisition/conveyances/development/litigation/sale), telecommunication & telemarketing compliance/litigation as well as numerous other subject matters that businesses routinely face.

Mr. Pette is admitted to practice in all State Courts in Florida as well as the United States District Court in the Southern District of Florida.  Mr. Pette is a member of the Real Property, Probate and Trust section of the Florida Bar.  

A native Floridian, Mr. Pette earned his Master of Law in Taxation from the University of Miami School of Law and his Juris Doctorate from St. Thomas University School of Law, where he was awarded numerous book awards of excellence for the highest grade in Advanced Legal Research & Writing, Constitutional Law II and Corporations, as well as multiple Dean’s List awards.  Geoff received his Bachelor of Science from the University of Central Florida.  When Geoff is not working, he enjoys spending time with his family, fishing, boating and golfing.

BEHAVIORAL HEALTH CONSULTANT

Cathy A. Claud

Cathy A. Claud has worked in the field of addiction for 40+ years. Cathy has extensive experience procuring and monitoring community based substance abuse services. During her employment with the State of Florida, she participated on the statewide workgroup which drafted Florida’s regulatory standards for substance abuse and mental health services. Cathy is considered a leading expert on the licensing requirements for the State, having supervised the licensure process for substance abuse treatment facilities located throughout Palm Beach County for a number of years.

Cathy has developed and implemented cross-system Substance Abuse and Mental Health Initiatives, working collaboratively with the Child Welfare System, Department of Juvenile Justice, Front Porch Communities and Department of Corrections.

Cathy has her Master’s degree in Non-Profit Management from the University of Central Florida and is certified by the Florida Certification Board as a Certified Addiction Professional and Certified Prevention Professional. Cathy’s dedication, experience, passion for caring, and her own personal standards of excellence are a tremendous support to the recovery community.
